Looks like duck weed to me. You can spray it but it's expensive and takes a lot of time and effort to stay on top of.

On the plus side you can build a blind and should have a good teal season.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

Should be covered up in ducks this fall/winter

I used this a couple of years ago when I was covered up in duckweed. I'd spray it in fourths.

We use something similar.

My pond stays covered in it. Once a year a couple hundred ducks.come in and clean it all up. It's pretty for a little while and then grows back. I don't hunt ducks so I'd rather the pond just stay clear and pretty.

They will answer your questions and tell you what to put on it to clear things up.
Since dealing with them my cattails are gone and so is the green scum.
After talking with them send them your pictures and thell get you going. up

What ever you do. Do not use Copper Sulfate. Which many folks do. And, it does work.
It is a heavy metal. And once introduced, into the eco system, of your tank
it will NEVER go away. And will, be in your fish, and anything else, that is in your
tank..
For the Cattails, I use some stuff called "Shore Clear". I can't remember the name of the company
I got it from. But you can Google it. They use only organic methods. It takes some work.
But it's worth it...
Here is a pic of mine. And I used only organic methods.

collect it and sell it. Life throws you lemons , sell duckweed.

Quote
Duckweed contains all nine of the essential amino acids giving it a protein profile similar to eggs. This makes the plant a potential source of high quality protein for vegans and in areas of the world where nutritional support is needed.
