A high school friend of mine posted this on Facebook, anyone tried it? The best Nachos Jalisco ever at El Tapatio, this one is in Madill OK but there is one in Denison and Gainesville. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/08/full-1274-307435-el_tapatio.jpg)

There are two in Houston that are solid: Taqueria Arandas and Taqueria Cancun.

There are two in Houston that are solid: Taqueria Arandas and Taqueria Cancun. I went to Arandas a lot for lunch when we lived in Cypress. Try their burrito with shredded marinated pork. I swear that thing weighs a pound or more.

I frequent the El Tapatio in Gainesville, it’s pretty good. El Mirador in Hobbs, and Plaza Tapatio in Pleasanton are really good, and Mi Mexico in Jourdanton is pretty good too.

We go to a place called Anamias in southlake. It’s TexMex but they got the best table side guacamole ever and great fajitas

Grapevine has a taqueria in the old dairy Queen, the one on NW highway not Main St. I eat there when down visiting, pretty good.

Best one in Fort Worth is Juanitos taqueria. I won’t complain because when I see that picture I want to lick the screen, but use it sparingly it’s postings are approaching the number of another famed poster lol

Couple of my favorites are Sammy’s in lavernia, chilli verde on 87 in China grove, and Las Lagunas on 181 northwest of Floresville

I swear, the best taqueria is on the NE corner of Northwest Highway and 35. It is attached to a gas station and just has a sign that says "Abierto 24 horas". I used to work over in that area and would eat there frequently. The best Tex Mex IMO in the DFW area is Desperados. Either the original, or the one in Richardson.

The Desperados in Richardson off of Arapaho Rd. at Coit Rd. closed down a while back, there is a Chick-fil-A there now.
