I haven't called any since moving to East Texas....even though we have more here than on my former property in the Hill Country.

I spent a lot time Varmint Calling in my younger years (mouth calls) pre-electronic gadget days.

Bobcats can be frustrating (in my experience), none that I have called in....came in like Coyote or Fox. They take their time. Frequently just sit down and look your direction. Slink form one spot to another.But easy to tell its a 'cat' even from far, far away (at night) as the eye shine tends to stay level and not 'bounce' like canines coming in.

Always had good results in South Texas though (day or night).

Might break out my old Burnham bros. calls and give it try once it gets cooler weather. Used to love hanging around the store in Marble Falls....way back when.
