Mills county, saw a 2-3 yr old 8-pt Saturday morning that was slick-horned. That seemed pretty early. Has anyone else seen some slicks yet?

No but I watched a little 6 point still in velvet chasing the heck out of a herd of 7 does and fawns Friday afternoon. Of course they didn't want any part of it, but the little buck seemed pretty determined. Its by far the earliest I've ever seen any chasing going on.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Some in velvet and some clean. Doe nibbling on velvet spike antlers. Colorado Co.

Nothing yet in Gillespie....but have seen them this early in Goliad in the years past. If have history on bucks, then you will see them loose the velvet and even shed antlers within a the same 3 day period every year.

Southern Schleicher County Rubbed out Sunday night I believe.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
