I just got a new stand and fill feeder from OA yesterday and it is by far my favorite - and I've tried a few. This is the model I picked up, but they have other versions. The battery and timer are inside the main body in the void space on the outside of the funnel that is built into the main body of the unit. A little side door gives you quick access to the controls. No exposed wires and the large plate under the spinner keeps any animals from getting to the spin plate. Holds 650 lbs. I just learned about these and I was super pleased to get mine. Now I gotta get to work and fill it up! PS - They are made in Texas, so if you wanna support a local business that makes great products, check em out: www.OAHunting.com(They also do some cool custom metal sign and fabrication work)

Looks good. I like the brace running under the motor.

Looks good, price is reasonable and the plates indicate using new school type feeders. One question- does the inside part of the feeder slope toward the center so all the corn feeds to the funnel or is it flat where corn might sit in the bottom? thanks for the link too. I am not sure about their idea of West Texas locations. I think of West Texas out near Amarillo, Lubbock, Childress, Post, Lamesa, etc. They need some dealers out there so those that hunt out in West Texas could check them out and pick one up.

I am sorry but I thought about another question while eating breakfast and reading a comment by Jimbo and his feeder timer.
What is the brand/type etc. on the feeder timer used on these feeders?
thanks

Looking at the last pic of it on their website it is indeed funneled down, you can see the seams making the funnel in the pic.

thanks- I had not seen that last picture. I thought I went through all of them. I sent them an email and asked about the timer as well and it is a generic one not "The Timer". just an fyi.

I’ve had The Timer on two different stand and fills. One still works well, the other crapped out and now the replacement one is acting up. I like the timer they have on this one, and it seems to stand up well in time, from what I’ve heard.
The funnel is a cool design and I like how they have everything in the void space with the funnel on the side door. And it holds 650# for sure!
