Mills county, saw a 2-3 yr old 8-pt Saturday morning that was slick-horned. That seemed pretty early. Has anyone else seen some slicks yet?

No but I watched a little 6 point still in velvet chasing the heck out of a herd of 7 does and fawns Friday afternoon. Of course they didn't want any part of it, but the little buck seemed pretty determined. Its by far the earliest I've ever seen any chasing going on.

Nothing yet in Gillespie....but have seen them this early in Goliad in the years past. saw a couple small bucks in Montague county that had a lot rubbed off. one little 7 had a lot of his velvet hanging off and thought that was a really awesome look
