The ones I have noticed are tiny but numerous. These are red oaks. Haven’t noticed post oaks yet. On another matter I have 2 dunstan chestnut trees each producing 20+ nuts. Excited to crack one open and eat it. All together I have about 20 chestnut trees. Dunstan and Chinese.

I have been checking the Live Oaks, Post Oaks, Spanish Oaks and Shinnery on my place. I have only found one Post Oak with a few acorns on it. I am sure there are a few more trees somewhere on my place with acorns since there so many oaks there.

Have not noticed any on my live oaks this year....thank god. A heavy acorn crop can kill a deer season
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

City slicker here. I have a couple live oaks in my yard, 1 front, 1 back, and one in the in-laws front next door. The one in my front yard is the obvious female of the three and produces acorns heavily every other year. This year should have been the heavy year, but I've barely seen a bud so far. I think that February Freeze reset her. I haven't had those leaves in my yard that don't mulch down either, since they all fell off in March. Small observation for sure.

Acorns are not looking the best which is good but the pecans are absolutely packed on all the trees this year.

Blackjack are packed with new acorns. Have only seen a few posts so far. We had a very strong post oak crop last season and they are every other year so makes sense

There for sure will be a bumper crop this year, I was at my buddies lease in Bracketteville a few weeks ago and it's so green it reminds me of Spring out there.

As mentioned above, the pecans are great but hardly any acorns on any of my oak trees.

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

Last week I went out and filled feeders and was shocked at the acorn crop this year. Most of our Oaks are just little scrub oaks about 3'-6' tall but they are loaded! I have only seen one crop out there in 14 years that was better than this years crop. We have had all the right rains this year though. This is in Coke county for those wondering. Bow season is going to be a real challenge this year because these Oaks are scattered far and wide. For those of you that have your Oaks concentrated in one spot you might hit the jack pot this year.
