Anyone using these? I can't find any around here to look at. I would like to build a 6-8 foot platform to put it on. But wondering how I can fix blind to base..I see they sell a steel floor and also tower but not too many pictures..I'd rather build a tower tho as I have some extra lumber. Also curious if there is any frame or something solid around the windows to rest a rifle

I just bought 4 of them a Jacoby's in Melvin. They only had 3 in stock and order more, but they were on backorder so I am hoping mine come in soon. The framing is around the windows IIRC and they have bow with rifle windows also. I had a friend who won one in a weekly contest from Las Cazdores a couple of years ago. I was impressed with how well they were made and the material the blind cover was made out of. I was told you can order repair or replacement parts if you need them in the future. The blind tower has an expanded metal floor so you would need either some horse stall mats or plywood over it to help keep scent in. They looked pretty sturdy though. Not sure what quality the tubing is on the blinds or on the towers though. I am going to have a welder build short towers on skids that I can put lumber on the set the blinds on or either build my own out of treated lumber. The blind weighs around 60 lbs IIRC. They fold up to take down and then put back up. Once you get the hang of putting it up it goes fast. The roof is not flat but highest in the center, so it sheds water well. The blinds are six sided. The cover is in 2 pieces...side and then roof. It is a heavier fabric.

Ive never heard of these. Very interesting. I like portability so Ill have to think about it. My new place is still very much a work in progress as far as learning the place, so some ease of mobility could help. Its hard for me to imagine them being as light weight as they say but Im sure its correct. Hard to be that sturdy(apparently is) and be so light. Hopefully STx and anyone else that has experience will report back.

stxranchman thanks for that info. One more question..if I built a wood tower for this with plywood floor, is there a good way to attach the blind to the floor of tower?

Yes you could attach them several ways....you could drill a hole thru the tubing and then screw them directly to the floor you built...I would probably just buy some of these pipe clamps and the screw them over the tubing into the floor. That way you won't have to drill thru the tubing and get water inside it...cause it rust faster.

Good idea on the pipe clamps..my local bass pro happened to have a display but none in stock. It was the warrior XL. I noticed it had predrilled holes in the flooring frame..so I'll probably use those to bolt it to plywood to remove after season

Yes they do, I was just at Jacoby's this morning and looked at their display. It has the predrilled holes in it like you stated. Mine are still on backorder.

Hawk makes platforms that attaches to the metal base of the muddy deluxe tower. Only for warrior and scout models.

The blind has holes pre drilled in the frame to attach to a platform
