So if you use the App to show proof of having a valid hunting license there is no way to prove you signed your license. So how can this requirement be a technical viloation?

Spoke with a warden last year, he told me as long as I wasn’t hunting something that requires tagging, I didn’t need to have the paper copy on me. The one time I was checked last year I pulled out my paper copy, didn’t even think to get the phone out.

I like the App and being able to show proof of license without the paper copy. Everyone always has their phone with them.

Quoted from the TPWD app itself, "While hunting, fishing or trapping, persons 17 years of age or older must carry on their person a valid driver's license or personal identification certificate issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety.Non-residents must carry similar documents issued by the agency in their state or country of residence."
