Our place is a mile north of town and I didn't see huntable numbers Saturday. The ones I did see were all resident birds I believe.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

I might add, on 206 south of Indian creek there is a large pasture with abandoned milo. I did see a good number of birds as I was driving by. So just depends I guess we’re your place is.

North of White Chapel, we had pretty decent numbers until about two weeks ago. They thinned out as we hadn't gotten the rains that other parts of the county has received. The power lines in town were full of 'em yesterday.

So (as in most hunting)...it depends!

Hoping this rain today changes things in the southwestern corner of the county.
