Yes he should have killed him last year, but that was last year.
This year, I'd put a kid on that deer early season and enjoy every second of it.

looks like a good meat deer to me. bound to be plenty others sporting better antler than that for his age. he's at least 2 and probably 3yo. no reason he shouldn't be showing 8pts or more. He woulda been on the list for someone to fill a tag.
