If you have a good outfitter you’d recommend, please pass them along to me. Most likely 2-4 hunters.

Tye Lightfoot out of New Mexico. I have made several goat hunts with him. Great outfitter to work with. 575-649-1952

Sagebrush hunts AKA JeremyKS on here. He does hunts in both locations and fills up fast. I hunted with him last year in Texas and you couldn't ask for a better group of people or outfit. He treats you just like family, which you get to be a part of while you are there. I didn't plan this year quick enough and he was full up in Texas by the time I reached back out to him.

I think my buddy is partners with him on that deal, but I could be mistaken.

Based upon what outfitter/brokers are charging for hunts, especially Sagebrush, you would hope that they treat their clients in the best ways possible. Most of the alleged outfitters are land broker salesmen- which is fine.
However IMO they either ask or require a deposit a year in advance and hunters are desperate or dumb enough to do it. For a lease- broker it's a no lose situation because the deposit after the first several months is either not refundable or pro rated.

I highly recommend Sagebrush Hunts, they put on excellent hunts. Are they the cheapest, no but you get what you pay for.

sounds like your looking for an argument or have something against the most recommended outfitter on this thread

He's either been burned, or has never been on an outfitted hunt.
And I have no idea where "most are land broker salesmen" comes from.
Sure, there are con artists and lame operations out there, but I've hunted with Jeremy's outfit and they're legit.

I am booked for 2022 (he was sold out in 2021) with Ken Danford, kdanford, on this board. Hunt is in Texas around Pampa. Reference calls very positive but you should do you own due diligence.

sounds like your looking for an argument or have something against the most recommended outfitter on this thread If you read carefully, it's fairly clear I was stating an opinion. On the other hand, the language in your knee jerk response reads more like provocation than mine. Many outfitters are land lease- brokers and not true outfitters that own or lease and inhabit the property or surrounding areas they hunt their clients on. Whether this individual is the most recommended or not is irrelevant where preference or opinion is concerned. Isn't it? Edit: I have hunted in western states both outfitter and DIY. Most do require a deposit but the notion that trust goes both ways is nonsensical. Once you send your 50% deposit the outfitter maintains the advantage, reputable or not.

We hunted NM with Tri-State Outfitters and Bridger Petrini east of Raton in 2019. 4 hunters. First time we'd ever hunted antelope. We each killed excellent bucks and two made the B&C minimum. Food was great, guides were excellent and the hospitality was outstanding. Saw lots and lots of antelope. I'd hunt with them again anytime.

They’ve been in business a long time. Their antelope hunts in NM are on the TO Ranch. Over 200,000 acres I believe. But they have access to a lot more.

It is massive for certain. Great area though Tried looking up their site to contact but it is not functional at this time. Happen to have contact info?
