Girls left me unsupervised tonight..... Boss went to Boise to see our kids, and MIL went to Jackson Hole to have dinner with her kids and see a show. What's a guy to do???
Cut 3-2" filets, wrapped them with bacon, seasoned with Himalayan salt and fresh cracked pepper, and seared both sides at 500 degrees, then finished in my cast iron pan at 350 for another 12 minutes. Topped with fresh diced garlic butter, green onions and parsley. Sautéed Vidalia Sweet onions. I'm afraid I made a pig of myself!!! Sorry for multiple pics.
Looks very good, cooked a little longer than I like it and I do not do butter on my steaks after they are cooked. Having said that I would certainly inhale everything on that plate and be very grateful
