Smoked a spiral ham I got from Kroger's a while back on the REC TEQ-590. I did one for Easter and it was really good. Gave half of it to our young neighbor couple who give us stuff from their garden all of the time. Still had enough to have 3 meals for us. Never even thought about smoking a pre cooked ham but that looks delicious! Whats the process ?

Since the spiral ham is already fully cooked, did you just smoke it first to get the smoke on bare meat, then glaze and continue smoking to get your final bark?? Inquiring minds want to know??

I coated it with EVOO and rubbed it lightly with Head Country seasoning. Placed in my REC TEC smoker @ 225 till an internal temp of 130°. Removed and applied my homemade glaze. Place back in smoker till an internal of 140°. Let rest for about and hour and then remove and trim all slices for serving. Eazy Peazy.
