Where are the best places to eat in Kerrville? Mexican, BBQ, burgers, home cooking?

Billy Gene's - Good diner, been around a long time
The Boat - Good drinks, seafood, kinda cajun
La Flour's - Great seafood, get the cajun balls
Grape Juice - upper end dinner
YO Steakhouse - middle of the road, kind of a Texas classic
Mamacita's - white people mexican food. I eat there. A lot. Weekends are packed.
El Jimador - great mexican food. I eat here for breakfast and lunch a lot. Al Pastor is awesome.

Thanks for the response. I've seen Billy Gene's and Mamacita's recommended elsewhere online so definitely have to try them for sure

Can't beat Mary's Tacos for breakfast

Billy Gene's is definitely good food. We ate CFS , meat loaf , fried okra, whipped sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and green beans. All very good.

The Lakehouse is good. 1011 Bistro if you want a great date night. Save Inn Restaurant for breakfast. Pax Coffee is great so ignore Starbuck's.

The Hunt Store for an experience.

First hand experience last weekend…avoid Grape Juice on Water street. Quite possibly the worst place in all the Hill Country.

Mary’s Tacos has outstanding breakfast.

Kerrville is tough, the cooks float from one place to the other. What was good last week sucks this week. Del norte for good tex mex
Billie genes is always good. Marys is decent. Thai ocha is good

A little late from the OP, but I ate at Billy Gene's last week and it deserves an additional bump. Good stuff!

Love the bar at the Y.O. hotel.
