The Dallas Arms Collectors Association Gun Show will be held on August 7-8 at the iconic Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. Texas State Rifle Association Legislative Director Andi Turner will be attending and available to answer questions about recent Texas gun legislation passed into law by Governor Abbott. It's a great opportunity to have your questions answered regarding the new laws especially constitutional carry and the Texas suppressor law. You can get more information at www.dallasarms.com. I know a lot of people have questions regarding constitutional carry and the new Texas suppressor law. Here's an opportunity to get accurate information. Andi Turner played a critical role in the process of passing this legislation into law.

Serious question...Is he a lawyer? Without the credentials to provide actual legal advice I'd take what he says with a grain of salt. At least legal advice can be presented to a Court in different ways. I appreciate his efforts and the format to ask questions. There has been a lot of "advice" on forums and in person, none of which would pass muster in an actual legal setting and some of which could mislead people. Serious questions need to be asked of the Attorney General once the law reaches the inception date.

It's a SHE and no....not a lawyer to my knowledge.

With respect to the Suppressor Bill that passed, it doesn't buy Texans anything. It is still subject to Federal Law. It does pave the way for advancement.

Permitless Carry likewise will have areas until challenged in the courts and precedent(s) set.... present unanswered legal questions.

Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

Texas can pass all the gun laws it wants. They don't mean a thing.

Unless they are more restrictive than federal laws, then they could mean something. Net net, nothing has changed until a case is arbitrated and even then that will be a reinforcement of federal over state hierarchy
