I worked on a farm all through high school and one of the perks was being able to trap two ponds and a creek. I taught myself by reading trapping magazines. This was considered a great day for my 17 year old self. Caught the fox in a dirt hole set, first one ever. Possum in conibear at the creek and I shot the squirrel on the way in

A varmint triple can make for a very good day. Did you cook the squirrel together with the possum?

We always cooked the squirrels. There were several guys that hung out around the liquor store in town for a couple hours in the afternoon. Really cool guys , fun to talk to. I sold them possums for $2 and coons for $5 . They loved to see me coming. Good memories

Great old pic!

I wish I could find some of mine from back in the 70s and 80s. I'm not sure exactly where those old pics are at and what we did with them after my mom passed in 2015.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
