Half inch of peanut oil at about 350-370 degrees, on the stove. I just put all four into the pan and they didn't roll around; turned with tongs. The tortilla were really fresh, but I steamed them a little also, so they would roll easier. Caution: If you steam them, let sit out for a few minutes to dry or you will have a lot of popping from the moisture. I should have used spring roll wrappers or large torts, so that I could fold the ends closed.
