Anybody own or hunt with a Glock G40 10 mm pistol?... Trying to decide between it and a Glock 20 10 mm.

I had a glock 40 slapped a trijicon RMR on it bought a few hundred Bullets and developed a real hot load for it I was shooting about a 3-4” group at 75 yards with it off sand bags.

I could shoot a shorter barrel glock like the 20 better, but it gave up about 100 or more fps.

It was fun, never shot a deer with it, not for a lack of trying, just never worked out.

I sold it back when I ran out of ammo for it, if I hand gun hunt I’m just gonna use a 44 mag or 45 colt.

I like the 40 better for hunting. Longer site plane. Killed a few hogs with mine

Had a G40 never got a chance on a deer but did get one yote with it. Traded it for a rifle for the wife. Picked up a new S&W 610 way better trigger and accuracy . 3 pigs and a yote with it so far. My favorite 10mm out of the 4 I own. I did have a KKM barrel on the g40 and ran some pretty warm loads through it and never a brass problem. The Banshee eats up brass and destroys it. Glocks are great I couldn't ever get used to the trigger is the main reason I traded it off. All my hunting handguns are revolvers all S&W's except the 500jrh. AA9 is you friend on powder if you reload 10 mm.
