In 1914 savage tried to get a U S contract for the musket, that did not happen, In that time a polo club (very exclusive) put together the MHG (Montreal Home Guard) and purchased 800-1000 (no one knows the exact number) approximately 500 bayonets were made. muskets are selling in the 4500-5500, the bayonets fetch that much, luckily I traded for these.
