Had a couple of king-size ribeyes that I had been seasoning and aging for a few days. Perfect night to do them. Meat, sweet corn, and some sautéed squash. Had my diced up Hatch chiles to put on the squash.
While I was boiling up the corn, I had time to throw together a bread - I like to call them finger corn bread. Since I make them sweet, then Sweet Tooth calls them cornbread cookies! She is from Washington, and raised in Idaho from childhood, so not a big fan of corn bread. She and her Mom love them. . Just another way to make dinner fun again.
