If you block our ads, it affects what we earn on the forums. Please consider not blocking them. Our forums are very secure. The chances of catching a virus from an Internet ad are slim, especially here. If you don't trust banner ads, don't click on them. If you want to support the THF, don't block our ads.

Gracis for considering!

Nope. Not gonna do it. Do not care if you make $$$ or not. I will not allow myself to be subjected to ads for things I do not need and do not want.

Please fix the dang popup that shows up at the bottom of the page. On the fishing forum, you can click the "X" and the adds will go away. On here it just changes color or ask you to go to another page.

Would it be possible to have the option to go ad free for a fee like YouTube does?

That is what you automatically get on a lot of sites when you are a paid member. I guess the owners do not adhere to that thinking. I've paid for multiple memberships here, because I believed the site was worth it, but the bottom add makes me feel like I have been taken advantage of.

If I need a pop-up blocker after paying for a membership, its clear my values are no longer in alignment with the site owners.

I have the free one through Chrome. Is there a way to allow all of the ads except the popup? That's the only one that bothers me. I figured out how to allow ads on this forum, just not if I can single out the popup.

I'd give you a few dollars to stop it. It's distracting and intrusive.

I didn't mind the ads till they started covering content.
Asking us not to block ads and then allowing us to get hammered with pop-ups kind of sucks.
I too, am happy to pay to for ad free membership.

It is beyond that. And I've found myself spending much less time here because of it.

Irritating pop ups that no one is interested in.

Yep, same boat here. Mobile app is so much friendlier.
