Big budget, little budget?

Would like to stay in $5-6k range. Really enjoy hunting whitetails in N Arkansas and Missouri and dont want to give up my prime time hunting those with a rifle. From some of the stuff Ive read late december is a good time to go in Texas. I'm not interested in any type of a pack in or wilderness hunt.

In the panhandle the season will be over by December 2nd week of December. We mostly miss the rut as season is over by then.

Most outfitters for mule deer are going to be over your budget and the better ones will have a waiting list.....some as far as 3 yrs out to hunt. Mule Deer season in Texas is basically 2 full weeks(Trans Pecos starts on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend and Panhandle starts the weekend before Thanksgiving) and over before the rut unless they are MLD, then they will hunt the rut. With the timely rains in a lot of the mule deer ranges in the state this year, it should be a lot of bigger deer killed this year. Look into Wildlife Systems and Desert Safaris in Trans Pecos region.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?
