Where I grew up on the East Coast, it would be a Newark instead!! Toasted hoagie buns, mayo and spicy brown, pepper jack cheese, and plenty of cut-thin grilled steak. Sautéed red peppers (no green) and pickled onions, with real Lay's potato chips. I really needed a Kosher dill pickle out of a barrel on the side, but was fresh out!! smile

Yes, I make pickled onions and avocados a bunch. Simple and just need water/vinegar/salt/sugar and any seasoning you want. Sliced fresh jalapeños with seeds and black peppercorns will make them spicy too, if you like

That looks delicious.

Never ate pickled avocado, sounds intriguing.

Here is my Philly cheesesteak cooked on my Blackstone. Used thin sliced ribeye with onions, bell peppers and provolone cheese all stacked on a full loaf of fresh garlic bread. Meat was seasoned with Chris's steak seasoning beforehand. [Linked Image]

Thanks Blank! I fix these for my grandson. Cut them into 4 sandwiches and he eats two and takes the others home for afternoon snacks!

I thoroughly enjoy reading and viewing all of your recipes on here. You are definitely quite the cook!!
