I built 3 of these for our place in Coleman County.
Used lumber.
Used tin.
The most expensive thing was the plexiglass for the windows. I put fold down windows in them.
I figured $100 each for material.

If you built those for $100 each, you did great!
It's not hard to spend $100 just for hardware on a blind these days.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Hinges don’t cost must, box of screws go a long way. Reject paint
I have some salvaged tongue and groove boards I used for the floors, takes longer but works good.
No
Labor is not figured in I enjoy doing it.

Very well done! up

I've stood and looked at plexiglass in Home Depot three different times and just can't bring myself to pay that for an old blind I'm trying to renovate. (With my limited skills, "renovate" is a very loose term.)

That's awesome. I built a couple in the past couple of years. I bet I've got 5-6 hundred in each one, not including labor.

Nothing makes for better sleeping than a tin roof.

I really like the tree limb pattern you painted on them. I have trouble drawing stick people.

Very nice!!!

You could have a nice 'cash' side business if you have a steady stream of those 'freebie materials' at hand.

Damn nice looking blinds!!!

Great blinds! No way you could build them for that with newly purchased lumber. The prices are coming down but still WAY high.

I'd go with the term "repurposed"
