Oh boy, there are a few.

I guess the first that I will speak of on here, was my step father. I was young and had just lost my parents. He beat the hell out of me for no reason. Punched me in the face, slapped me in the face, beat me with whatever he could find because "they" were having a fight or he was in a bad mood. I always had bruises everywhere. Beat me and threw me and my little brother around so much that I thought about, and almost killed him with my 4-10. I was going to take my brother and run away and just live off the land. He made us mean. I made a promise to God long ago, that later in life my children would never know what any of this is like, and they never will as long as I live. My hatred died when I watched him take his last breath. He begged me to forgive him, I could not.

Second- long ago I pulled into the apartment complex of a girl I was dating. Stepped out of my truck & all I heard was screaming from a distance. I ran to the screams to find her Cousin's husband trying to kill his pregnant wife. She was 8 months pregnant, he had her pinned up against the wall choking her by the neck. I yelled at him to stop, he was drunk and out of his mind and wouldn't stop. He was bigger than me, so I jumped on his back and put a choke hold on him. He let loose of her, and then we went to the ground rolling around and punching. I popped him good a couple of times to try to get him to calm down, but he didn't. So I squeezed until his arms went limp, then turned him loose. He came to, and said was was going to go upstairs, get his shotgun, and kill us both. I grabbed his wife, put her in my truck & we left quickly and called the police. He was Navy, so he was disciplined or so I was told.

This quote fits some that I have met.

This dandy right here. I bought some cattle from him for four years, no telling who really owned them!

Early in my independent land man career, an older “mentor/friend” screwed me over pretty good in a lease transaction. It taught me the 10 Land Commandments. I still see him around Midland occasionally. He knows to steer clear. His time is coming. Revenge is a dish best served cold….

Was this the guy that was ultimately caught at the Graham sale barn a few years back?

T Boone Pickens. Anybody that remembers Mesa's attempt to buy out Gulf know what I'm talking about. I got one more and this one was personal his name was Chris Christopher as an out right crook and con man he's going to be hard to top. I'm surprised he lived to go to jail, there was a bunch of folks from Texas to Oklahoma wanted to hang that old boy. I never got my money or my job back but I did somewhat get even. I was working for Wagner Brown and we formed a softball team to play in the industrial league. Just so happens old Chris decided he was going to pitch for his team the day we played OIL (His Company). I was at bat and lofted a pitch to me and I sent back a hard line drive right to his woobly bits. He was still on the ground when I made second. It was a glorious day!

I’ve met several that qualify, but the most famous was Jerry Lewis. I was at an event in the late 80s that he was also attending as a guest. He spoke to me once, saying, “my wife thinks I’m an a..ho..”, and i remember thinking that i agreed with her. We were sitting at the adjacent table from him and his demeanor was pure arrogance and condescension to everyone in the room.

My wife's nephew. Been arrested twice for embezzlement. First time His daddy's money and a lawyer kept him out of prison. I think this time that won't work. He likes to brag about his BMW and Neiman Marcus clothes but he has lost a business and two homes to foreclosures. He cusses his Mom because she can't and won't help him out moneywise. He is a poser. Says he is an SMU grad....He might have drove past there once. He is gay and I think he gets by with the help of older sugardaddys. Just an amazingly creepy guy.

Got away from one a few years ago. If he ever gets caught it’ll come with a news article like those others posted. It blows my mind that people can live that way knowing what they’re doing

Probably the biggest POS I ever met was a COO I worked for. He came on board with a new president and HR dude he worked with at GMs parts company. He took down the HR guy and then went to work on the president. When my boss left he told him he was going to cost the company $3m in an effort to get rid of the president. When my boss left I reported to him and he put his plan in motion. We had a long term administration assistant to the controller that got killed in a car wreck at lunch one day. A week later he sat down in my office and said "you know the sun will come up tomorrow".

I've never known any famous people personally but the last Boss that I had was the biggest POS I've ever met and if our paths ever cross again it won't be pretty.

Back in 1994 my brother was fighting cancer at All Children’s hospital in St Pete Florida. The Cardinals played their spring training games at Al Lang Stadium in St Pete and every spring training they would bring a bunch of sick kids to a game and they got to go on the field and meet the players and coaches. Every single player knew what was going on and every single player including greats like Ozzie Smith, Juan Gonzalez, and Jose Canseco along with others would take time to talk to each kid, sign autographs and dish out high fives. Every player went out of their way for those kids except Will Clark. I spotted Will by 1st base talking with a coach not far from all the other players, I took my dying brother over to him and I said “Mr Clark could you please sign my brothers baseball?” Will turned around looked at my bald sick brother and said “Can’t you see I’m busy kid” my brother went from having a huge smile to having a sad face. This wasn’t just some kid in the stands asking for an autograph it was a big thing put on by the teams and the hospital and Will couldn’t take a few minutes to interact with the kids. In my opinion he is a POS and always will be in my eyes. He was the only player from either team that was rude and refused my brother an autograph or a pic with him.
