Considering getting a wraith scope for my 308. Anyone have this one or any opinions on it? They offer a pretty good veteran/LE discount. It's normal just under $600 plus tax. But with the discount I can get it basically $200 off.

IMO, Sightmark has made great strides coming up with affordable, well made optics.

I bought the Wraith 4K Max last week, still need to mount it but so far it looks pretty great.

I've hunted with this scope 2 seasons now and really like it. I have no trouble identifying pigs at 200+ yds on a dark night. I have my illuminator mounted near the muzzle on the lower left and that has really reduced blooming from muzzle smoke and improved follow up shots.

Likes:
Illuminator has plenty of power and is easy to mount and adjust
Great daylight performance
Can be used without illumination well after sunset and still provides a good image
Good quality video in the daylight.
Micro SD card can be removed to download files
Easy to zero
Setup menu is very intuitive and easy to use

Dislikes:
Have to click the illuminator button 3 times to turn off
Field of few is very small even at 4X, I think 4x is more like 8X
Its very heavy and bulky
Nighttime video quality is not the best
No audio recorded with the video
Scope base came loose from the scope housing after a hundred rounds or so. Me and my 2 hunting buddies all experienced this even though the bolts came with thread locker preinstalled and were properly torqued.

Overall my dislikes are minor and I recommend this scope as a great value and very functional night vision scope at a reasonable price.

BD, that is a decent, very succinct review.
