So I know a lot of us use office chairs in blinds. My question is, if it’s going to be a duel use blind (bow and gun), do I find chairs w/o arms? I’m thinking so, but just wanted thoughts.

Go to the State Surplus Store. 6506 Bolm Rd. Austin. I was looking for 8 and bought all 9. They asked 10.00 each and I got them for 5.50 each. They will have more chairs etc than you can say grace over.

Arms on the chair makes sitting in the blind so much more comfortable, and an office chair can swivel so if the arm does get in the way when drawing a bow you could slightly ease off the seat turn it slightly to get in position and then shoot the bow. I would go for chairs with arms almost every time if possible. Comfort makes the hunt last longer which means more time in stand which means more chance to see deer.

In my blind I have two chairs, a comfy chair for long sitting and a swivel shooting chair when I get some action. Yes I have a rug in a pop up blind

I don't want a chair that is too comfortable -------- it makes me fall asleep and I miss opportunities at game.

They will have more chairs etc than you can say grace over. I was looking for a second chair for each blind I have. Now if two people are in a blind they can decide who gets what. It's worked out fine thus far. I keep the 9th chair in my shop!!

Best chair I ever had for rifle hunting was an old barber chair a lady was going to throw out. You talk about comfortable.

The Salvation Army on w28th Fort Worth had a bunch of office chairs years ago for 10$. Very comfortable chairs.

You can buy office/gaming chairs with flip up arms.
