Yep, I looked into growing black pepper at one point. Black pepper is also my absolute favorite spice. I put black pepper on my black pepper.

Yep, I looked into growing black pepper at one point. Black pepper is also my absolute favorite spice. I put black pepper on my black pepper. I put so much BP on my chicken fried steak that you can`t hardly see the gravy. It is an OMG moment. I usually take the lid off of the pepper shaker at restaurants to save time because it comes out faster. Those little holes in the pepper shakers are annoying. True story.

Love BP, and it is my favorite spice also. Really like the flavor of McCormick brand so use their whole peppercorns in my grinder, and the coarse ground pepper for general use. I don't care for the mixes that use a lot of pink or green aromatics in them.
