beginning of WW11, U S troops needed knives, knife drives were held for U S citizens to donate any knives they had. also there were a lot of theater made, lots on troop carries crossing the Atlantic, with the machinist on board, G I's put together their own. the one pictured, the blade is from a Patton sword, have never heard how they came by THESE, there are a lot still around, I have had a few, not with knuckle buster. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/06/full-3376-300227-dscn1849_2.jpg)
