First question: Is it better to have 1 set time for year around or change it with the time change?
Second question: What times do you have yours set for?
Third question: How does your times differ for your corn and electronic (of course) protein feeders?
Bonus question: how much difference is there in protein feed?

First: 'Don't know if it's better, but I never change mine.
Second: 7:30 a.m. Standard Time and most 4:30 p.m. Standard Time, with 2 or 3 at 4:45pm. Never change. Some do, but I don't have time to fart with it.

Ours are set for 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. We start feeding corn in late September. We usually top off the feeders after the Thanksgiving hunt. Then let them out. Used to fill cotton seed protein feeders during the last in January. But all of our neighbors are proving the quality protein and the deer have not been using ours, so we quit.
Everyone around us has hog problems, they feed year round. Since we quit feeding in the off season have very little hog activity.
Combat Infantryman, the ultimate hunter where the prey shoots back.

One thing I have noticed is that if mine is set too early birds will go to town on the corn before the deer/hogs are active. I enjoy going out and popping a hog now and then, so I keep my feeder active year round.
