While I live pretty close to the Bracken Cave I had never been there until yesterday. Wow. Its quite a sight to watch 12 to 15 million bats emerge from a hole in the ground. I plan on going back again later this year. Sorry for the blurry photos, it was getting a bit dark and I couldn't get the shutter speed fast enough to stop the movement and flashes are not allowed. If you ever get the opportunity to go, by all means go. That is amazing. I put up a bat house but have never attracted any. I guess it needs to be moved.

That and the railroad tunnel near Fredericksburg are quite the spectacle.
