How are things looking out there? Foliage, deerwise, good fawn crop?

I cant speak to the fawn crop, but I see deer to some degree every outing. Lots of grass and weeds are 10' tall. Plenty to eat right now. My sunflowers are coming along pretty well, which is a first. I wouldn't make a pimple on a farmers a$$.

Fawn crop is good and ponds are full. The grass and weeds are super tall. I haven’t seen a snake yet so that always good news

I have seen a few fawns on our ranch. We have also seen many more poisonous snakes than normal.
2 rattlesnakes, 1 cottonmouth and multiple copperheads.
Tanks are all full and plenty of cover.

Rich, wasn't familiar with your setup out that way. What a great website you all have. How many acres are you?

My place in western young county is looking great. Plenty of cover for babies, ponds are full. Deer are still hitting protein & corn like a fat boy in an ice cream shop. Saw my 1st fawns on camera.

I haven’t got to go out very much this, but when I did go out it was green green green. The deer are looking good. This looks like one of the best years I’ve seen in the five years I’ve been hunting in young county

4” of rain today between Bryson and Graham. The ground is like a swamp. I have a doe and two healthy fawns that ignore my dogs barking at them every morning at daylight when they are getting a drink at my tank.

I think we ended up with over 9" at Lake Graham by the end of the day yesterday, crazy stuff for late June. Stock tanks are full, grass is tall and horns are growing.

My father in law is at Lake Graham as well, he said his 6" gauge was running over. I think I ended up with around 2" west of Newcastle.

Was out cleaning blinds, feeders, and shooting lanes this past weekend. Grass was 6ft tall and weeds/shrubs were all still green. Should be a great fawn crop this year

South of you 20 miles in Stephens County. Seeing lots of bucks...not just the usual gang but seeing some new ones. Good antler growth. Tanks full. Plenty of plant growth but they still hit the corn and protein Have yet to see a fawn this year... sorta got me worried. Last year was excellent fawn crop.
