I guess the days of buying a true 500 count brick on sale at true value hardware for $5 are gone forever?

Well, I'm pretty well stocked up on .22s for now. I think the boy said we had about 25k rounds. lol

The best way to slow kids (and grown-ups) down is to make them load the magazines themselves. smirk

Even better is to get them a single shot. They will learn how to make that one shot count and it slows down the ammo consumption big time.

I used to burn 500 rounds every Saturday with a single shot. If I have no other obligations I can sit out there and shoot literally all day long. It’s therapeutic, especially an accurate gun with no recoil. Never gets old!

Hey hey hey now........ I'm not quite that old. I wasn't buying ammo until the 80s. lol
Actually that was mid-80s an when they ran sales on it at that store. I believe it was normally about $7-$8 a brick.
