34000 acres of historic land that has never been leased before.
Ranch is located in Girard and set against the 6666's and the Pitchfork. We have a biologist on staff. Looking for hunters who are interested in Quail and habitat management. We are selling a good number of birds this year and with the rains, things are looking up.
This is a full season Quail lease. With no deer hunting leases at this time. There are a few areas that can be used for camping with water and electricity.
We are looking for 15 guns @ 6000 a gun.
We willing to work with the right group. Please call, text or pm for any more details.

From what I understand their weren’t enough bird to hunt in that area last year. $90K is pretty steep for a place to camp and watch dogs run. I think it’s too early to tell what the bird are going to do. When you say your seeing a good number of birds this year, what does that mean?

No deer hunting leases at this time ?????------------------ but some are coming ?? Potentially excellent area for quail, every quail hunter knows that any lease is a crap shoot, very few quail in Tx last year, maybe rain will bring them back this year. My guess is that the big challenge will be to get one group of 15 hunters.

They’ll be able to fill it with smaller groups and singles. I saw another lease in the Paducah area about twice the acreage the same price per gun.

I'm in same area for half that. Pretty much just been a hog lease and just a place to get away for the past 3 years. Maybe this will be the comeback year.

I hunted the Pitchfork back in the day. It is my unsteadying that it has changed but not in a good way. I would still check out your ranch if it was in my ares. Good luck.

I can’t see where he’s asking for guidance?

This is why I don't have a string of pups much less broke dogs anymore to bring into a season. This and others have gotten way out of my price league. So I just live on memories of yesteryear. Good luck diehardoutfitter on filling your lease. Good luck to the hunters also!

Heard the first quail of the year this morning working calves. Throckmorton County. It’s freaking June 24th and the first bird sings? Check cattle 3 times a week and today was the first one. Great spring, great rains. Plenty of seed and shade. But I literally stopped when I heard it. Didn’t believe it. But there it was again, BOB WHITE! I hope they come back, not a better sound in the country, but my optimism is pretty much gone. Had a covey last spring at the pens, March they were singing daily, by July there was two, by August, none. Hot and dry and gone. I love em! Make me smile every time I hear one. Great birds, great memories!!!!!!! But dang that’s a lot of money.
