I just saw on the new that the St Louis MO couple that pointed gun at BLM protesters on their property entered guilty pleads today. What in the H@$$ is this world coming to?

Just saw the husband on Newsmax said it was a guilty plea for misdemeanor with a $750 fine. Also saw that the governor is wanting to pardon them. Hope he does.

They are also surrendering the weapons used. In the husbands words this was a quick and easy way out that guaranteed to avoid a felony charge and he can go buy another AR….wrong all around but I don’t blame him unfortunately.

That’s just BS! They have the money to fight this which they shouldn’t have to in the first place and if they got a Felony the Governor was going pardon them. I guess the Governor has to wait on a verdict before he can do anything.

This is just going to emboldened that DA and the whole left!

I don't think I would have gone outside to address the mob. The best strategy would have been to take a defensive position inside the home.

If I did go outside, pretty sure I wouldn't have pointed a firearm at anyone unless I followed it up with a shot. I'd probably make sure a life threatening felony had taken place too.

Stay inside
Call 911 to document (cya)
Defend when necessary

It was a trap designed to get the response the home owners gave the mod.

Bad day for everyone involved.

Just because they have the money doesn't mean they should spend it. $750 fine, plus the cost of an AR is about the same cost of a day's work of an attorney. Fighting it would have cost them tens of thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands.

I fully agree that just because they have the money doesn’t mean they should spend it and I stated that they shouldn’t have had to in the first place. You are correct that it would cost and did cost them tens of thousands to defend themselves already. That’s the problem is that the Government whether if he local, state, or federal has the funds to spend and then at some point like this comes back with a lower charge and people take it to end the situation. This should not be Allowed to happen!
