I meant to post this weeks ago, but just now got to it. My Boy (on the right) spent the night at his buddies house a few weeks back, and they have a little creek that runs behind the neighborhood. The boys go down and kick around the creek often. His buddies Mom texted this photo to me and said the boys "noodled" this fish. I thought what the heck got ahold of that catfish and tore it up so bad? I called my boy later than night and got the story. Now, the story was told by his buddy. His buddy moved here from Alabama last year, and has the deepest, twangiest southern accent that I have ever heard, and he tells stories without taking a breath, so It's just one big runon sentence. So when you read this story, you have to read it in the twangiest, deepest southern accent you can muster. Here's what he said... "Me und Chay was down at the crik, and we wus jes walkin, an Chay sawl this big ole fish up in the shallow. I says is that a carp!? He says, naw, thats a catfish! And he jes jumps on it an goes at it with a machete! He's jes, WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! I mean he's jes wailin' on this cat with that machete! Then I jump in an we pin em, and pull him out. I love it! Get that baby in some oil! Love it that the boys are in the great outdooors being boys, but that is not Noodling, that was an ambush and all out assault  Yep it is time to fry
