I've tried it in different forms.

I've had a professional try it, and it did not work on me.
I've had a buddy try it, and it did not work on me.
I've had a college professor try it on our class, and it worked very well.
I've tried it on myself, and it works to a point.

I'm very open to doing it regularly to try to "improve or change" things about me.

It didn't work on me. I must be ADD.

Mine did too. He was a skeptic until he was convinced by his wife that he really was hypnotized. 2 packs a day and after that he has never even craved one and smoke doesnt bother him. Over 25 years now.

provided you actually don't want to do drugs.

Helped me quit smoking in 1992, 2 packs a day then, haven't lit one up since I walked out of the room.

Highly recommended, if you want to change whatever behavior you're there for and if you believe you can be hypnotized.

I was at a corporate Christmas party 2 years ago. They hired a hypnotist. I was laughing hysterically. These were people I work with and their spouses. Random people from the crowd were chosen. He had them crawling like animals, exercising, and saying stupid things after some phrase or something.

It was one of my favorite experiences to watch in my adult life!

My wife got hypnotized in Las Vegas a few years ago at Anthony Cools show, it pretty awesome to watch him put about 20 people under and control them for the whole show

I have seen hypnotism work and also seen it not work. It is all in the mind of the person and how willing they are to "let go" and how "controlling" they are about things.

My daughter tried it for cheerleading stunts, and it did nothing to help her fear of going feet over head.

I have seen my son and many others at the funny party type events get hypnotized and do things they didn't know they could do. My son was told he was hunting and the biggest deer he had ever seen walked out... you could see his breathing accelerate and he got completely serious and focused...and then the guy said the deer had a bow and arrow too and my son jumped in his seat a little....he was totally under.

Had one girl I know get it done and the guy told them all to put a dollar bill somewhere no one would find it. The next morning she found that dollar bill and had no idea why it was in her undies. Funny stuff.

I tried it to stop smoking. I do not know if it worked. It has been 31 years since I have smoked one. I guess I will have to wait and see if it works.

Yep, just happened again. Read post, laugh, glance left and its Hud. The man is funny and he does it one short line at a time(think Carson, Benny, Hope.)
