I bought the Texas Edition last May and love it. For my lease the power steering is helpful and never caused any problems. Time will tell. Call antlers motor sports in antlers Oklahoma Antlers is great. No haggle pricing. Cheaper than anybody in Texas. Only place that can beat Antlers is I-69 Motorsports but you have to drive to Tennessee

When I got mine, years ago, I got the one withut the PS. The PS package had the PS and camo on the hood. It was around $1,800 more.
I soon Added the Polaris aftermarket PS for around $800, I think. The kit is the same that came with the PS version. The camo hood for the additional $1k was not a necessity for me.
So, that said, you could always get the non PS version, and add it on later.
Another observation…My PS went out recently, and I’ve been getting along the place fine without the PS…but man, do I miss it!

I've owned 2 Rangers and neither one has had power steering. Next UTV I buy will not have power steering either. I hunt in some rough country in West Texas and never needed it. I have road in Rangers, Mules and Can-ams that have it did not see anything special about it. What did see was it cost $1000 more and then one more thing to break down on a Ranger that already breaks down a lot. Maybe you should buy a Kawasaki Mule I would own one if there were any available and the few available are at full list or over list. My next buy will be a Mule or Can-am. MIne to stxrm. My current 1000 does not have it and I wish I did when working around the place. Especially when spraying fencelines! Next one will have PS on it for sure.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I’m just blown away by the prices on UTVs period these days. You could literally buy a car! I asked the local dealer what’s driving these prices when a Jeep Wrangler literally costs the same price if not cheaper sometimes. He said that you’d have to put 10k into a wrangler to get the same functionality that you get outta these UTVs these days. Seems like a stretch but what do I know!
Probably gonna go the ATV route to save a few coins.
