The axis hunting has been really tough this summer between the freeze then tons of rain and we are on a cursed streak of misses. 9 big trophy bucks missed so far. We managed to knock down a couple though (meat/trophy) and still have the rest of the summer to get after the big ones that got away on round 1. We are letting a ton of big bucks walk that have been freezer burned so next summer will be an A++ year to trophy axis hunt.
