I recently had to put down my 11.5 year old black lab and am going to start looking at where to get a new puppy soon. I'm looking for a dog that has at least a titled sire, with a history of titles in both the sire & dam's side. I will use the dog primarily for waterfowl. I hold paramount temperament since I'll be in the field 20-30 days a year and in the house 365 days/year. Looking for either a yellow or black male. I like labs that are a little bigger/taller but lean. My last one was 85lbs and carried the weight well. I'd love to hear y'all's recommendations on who to talk to and who to avoid. I just moved to Denver but don't really care where I have to pick the dog up, though closer than the east coast would be preferable. Thanks in advance!
