Not cracklins, pork skins....what is your favorite store bought brand?

I discovered my favorite headed to the heliport in Galiano, La one time. The brand is Golden Flake, made in Abalama, and they are delicious. I started ordering them by the case because you can't find them around here. I bought out several gas stations and carried boxes of them offshore with me to share.

Homemade skins are great, but nothing like grabbing a bag of spicy pork skins and a pack of jerky on the road.

no clue of preference, I have tried almost every brand I have ever seen in various convenience stores on my travels. Some are better than others but I typically like most of them.

HEB brand. Spicy.

Buccees is pretty good

I don’t have a preference because I’m going to soak them in hot sauce. Usually Cholula, but I’ll take Valentina too.

I'll take almost any brand and eat them while driving down the open road.

I never liked them either.. I always figured I'm not red neck enough, but TCM3 I have seen pics, he is red neck, so I guess that is not it.

Chapa's if the store has them, if not Baken-ets or Tom's.

Any Mexican Mercado or Carniceria and pick up some Chicharrón con carne. Not the little dried out bits, the big chunks with meat and crispy fat.

Not sure what brand they were but had some at the coast that were the best I’ve ever had, they were a spicy variety.

My sister in laws parents use to own a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, with several of their breakfast plates came chicharones but they were. Ot crisped just pan fried with a ranchero sauce on them… they were heaven with some runny eggs and fried potatoes.

Those are the best.
