Used truck market right now is crazy! $20K may not get you very much truck. Unfortunately you're right about this. What's shocking to me is that you can pay $20-30k for a pickup with 100k+ miles or you can buy a new one for $35k. They just don't depreciate. You ain't gonna find a F 250 super crew new for $35k unless they forgot to put doors on it. For sure, I was thinking 1/2 ton. I think that's the direction I'll be going with....3/4 or 1 ton would be too much truck for what I need.

Officially in the market, if anyone has anything that fits the bill:
- 1/2 ton Silverado, Sierra, F-150, or Tundra. - Budget: $20-25k - 4x4 - Prefer extended cab, but will consider a crew cab - Under 100k miles - Not interested in crazy lifts/modifications
** I have a 2004 Tacoma 2WD Double Cab w/119k miles if anyone is looking to downsize and work out some kind of trade plus cash. It has a few little scratches and dings, but it's in great condition. PM for details **
