I'm prepping to kill every single insect within 50 yards of my house. Between the chiggers, fleas, mosquitoes, fireants, biting flies, I look like I've been on Naked & Afraid!

Maybe one, after I killed 3 pigs in a trap 2 weeks ago. Sprayed myself down, but got the heeby jeebies and sure 'enough saw one on my belly afterwards. Followed by a hot shower.
'Can't kill another pig to save my life, I guess because it's so green.
Gonna maybe by indoor flea killer spray to douse them before I drag 'em. Thoughts?

Only one dog left. She is an inside dog. No fleas.

I have only seen one so far and it was on my dog. First one she has ever had on her that I am aware of in 7 or 8 years.
I did just get stung by a Red Wasp on my middle toe. Holy $*** that ******* hurt!!!

I did just get stung by a Red Wasp on my middle toe. Holy $*** that ******* hurt!!! they can pack a punch.... i got stung on my ear a few years ago... looked a little bit like Dumbo for a while.

Bravecto = no fleas or ticks. Flies have been bad, have some fly predators on the way.

I good remedy to remove them from your property is to use "Borax 20 Mule Team Detergent Booster" just sprinkle around the ground they ingest it and no more fleas. We had them so bad about five years ago that they treed every cat we had on the property trying to escape them.

The dog had them, him and the cat are inside / outside pets so sometimes they bring them in the house. I just switched from the topical monthly treatment to Bravecto
I keep a couple Victor ultimate flea traps plugged in pretty much year round. One under my bed because the dog sleeps with me and one in my daughters room where the cat hangs out. Haven't had a problem since I started doing that a couple years ago.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

Demon WP is the best thing for fleas I've used inside the house. I used to think so too, about 8 years ago or so, I’m not sure if they changed the formula or if the crackhead fleas just started jonesing on it but it quit working

Put the pig in the bag and spray a fair amount of starter fluid (ether) inside on a rag as well as puffing the bag with ether spray. Close the bag tight and let it sit for 30 minutes, turn the pig over inside and let it sit for another 30 minutes. You basically made a "killing jar" for collecting insect specimens. I have not noticed any off taste or smell to the meat after cutting it up and washing it off. I'm not a doctor so I can't say it's 100% safe, but it's got to be safer than bug poison spray and it works.

It kills them on contact then evaporates off if you let it dry and you don't need to put them in the trash bag. The trash bag would probably speed it up but then you would have to spend time bagging the hog and chance of getting covered in fleas. Once the alcohol dries it does not effect the meat at all. We did this back when you could by a quart bottle for like .20 to .30 and one bottle would do one large size hog. We were cleaning and eating 40-50 hogs per year and fleas were a given.

No fleas here. Just chiggers and flies. I am surprised the skeeters are not thick. I have seen very few but they are probably going to start hatching. Mudbugs and fire ants are active. I hate hitting their mounds with lawn tractor.

I did just get stung by a Red Wasp on my middle toe. Holy $*** that ******* hurt!!! Walked by the patio couple of years back and stood up an old cow skull decoration and kept walking. Skull had red hornet nest in it was stung on my ankle and felt like I was SHOT by a .22. Got my attention fast. Got the can of bug juice and killed thoes MoFo's quick.
