We have had a vacation in April and May, the final one we have planned is to the JW in San Antonio over July 4th. The whole family loves the pool area, and I appreciate the food/drink there

then a long drive home... now stuck at home for the summer

I felt the same about Myrtle Beach when we went and also ready to go see more of Charleston.

We have a weeklong trip on the books coming up to meet my new nephew and hit up another National park.

I also just spent a long weekend up in Divide, CO with the wife for a late anniversary trip. A buddy from college has a house on that backside of Pikes Peak that he’s going to short-term rent out (VRBO) - wife and I got to be the guinea pigs.

Not taking a summer vacation this year, son is taking AP class this summer. Might go visit colleges on a couple weekends. Did book our Christmas trip this year though. Going to Banff for a week.

We're headed to Cancun (if it doesn't get cancelled due to the Rona outbreak) in a couple of weeks for our 25th year wedding anniversary. May go to Colorado in August if it works out.

We went to San Antonio earlier in the year. We'll go to Broken Bow for a week in the fall like we do every year.

Normally we go on another vacation (Mexico, Vegas, etc), but we opted to split up my wife's remaining vacation days and just do a few long weekend "stay-cations." May drive up to Crater of Diamonds SP and play in the dirt for the heck of it one day. We usually drive up to Broken Bow for 1/2 day lake trips (heck of a lot better lake to swim in vs the mudholes around here) since it's just shy of 2 hours from us...but it's gotten so damn crowded you can't enjoy it anymore.

What was wrong with MB? We're going next month. I've talked to quite a few that went before covid and a couple that went last month and liked it.

End of August through first of September, wife & I will spend 12 days in a house on Toledo Bend.

Last year we went to Cripple Creek CO and stayed in a secluded cabin. We just don't desire to travel very far this year.

You all are doing it right !
No vacation for us, spouse is saving time off for his moose hunt in Western Wyo. We will get in a scouting trip later in June and visit a good friend brewing for Wind River in Pinedale.
We also have a machinegun shoot this weekend to go to.

We're just trading timing. We did broken bow last month and San Antonio later. Nice choices sir!

Taking a week to spend on Payette Lake in the Idaho mountains. Plan on doing a little fishing and a lot of decompressing.

We just got back from a trip to Cancun. It was a nice getaway and Colt had a blast. He loves Pinacoladas. It was my wife and I’s 15th anniversary and Colts 3rd BDay.

When we left DFW it was raining and when we landed back in DFW it was raining lol.

To me, it was dirty, nasty, overrun with criminal elements, disturbing... and the restaurants were terrible, even with good reviews... We're beach people, the beach was dirty, even in exclusive areas.... We won't be back again... tourist trap and low end.......sorry
