 400 yard range

My brother is planning an elk hunt his year and wants to shoot his 300 Wby out to 400 yards. I know there are plenty of ranges with that distance, but the catch is he wants to be able to go check the target. He lives in Grand Prairie. Anyone know of such a place to shoot? I am thinking Tac Pro, as I am on the 1000yd list, but have not been out there in a few years.

FiremanJG has a private range that goes out to 800 I believe he’s a member.

Holley Gun Range out by Gatesville is a steal target range but they folks setup there own targets for the type of thing you'd like to do. During the week is best time to do it.

Grand Prairie isn't too far of a drive.
No need to check targets, all but two of my steel targets are painted white. You can clearly see impacts through your scope, and adjust as needed. If he needs help, we can work out a time and I can spot for him. As long as the rifle and ammo shoot well together, his drive time will take longer than getting his data on the range
