I honestly don't remember but it may have been either Roy Clark or Charlie Pride at the SA Rodeo.
Does that count?

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Allman Brothers, Joe Walsh and Marshal Tucker Band at Texas Stadium I’m pretty sure it was 1976.

The first one I remember was Ernest Tubb at the Winona Hoedown. Once I remember Buck Owens was there and he got my brother up on stage during I've got a tiger by the tail. Must have been around 1965. The Winona Hoedown was also a regular for Elvis.

One shot is all it should take.

My first ever concert was February 23, 1989. I was in 7th grade and my buddy's uncle took 5 of us for my buddy's birthday to Fair Park Coliseum to see Ratt headlining with Britny Fox, and Kix opening up. As 13 year olds, we had no clue at the time what we were being exposed to. The wannabe groupies in their skimpy dresses, the hairspray, the cigarettes, the weed, the tight pants on the guys...so much for a group of adolescent boys to take in. And this was before the show even started. I couldn't believe how LOUD the music was. I remember my ears were ringing as we left the arena afterwards...but it was so damn awesome!

Yes that was it! Forgot Britny Fox opened. It was loud and smokey. Chicks in the guys bathrooms sitting on the trashcan and sink. Some guy was banging his head on the light post as we left to get in my parents station wagon.

Deep Purple and Nazareth fall of 1975. Co-worker of mine was able to get back stage passes at the Tarrant Co Convention Center. I think Tommy Bolin was the guitarist for DP at the time. He ODed about a year later.
