My kids said they want a beef pot roast, since I'm not gonna fry backstrap tonight. Well, OK. 6 lbs of beef chuck roast about to meet a HOT 3 gallon cast iron pot. He's also a great help in the kitchen and great help with whatever else I need. Kid just wants to help everybody and has a ton of energy. When I covered the pot, and put it in the oven for the night. Tomorrow, this will be a good meal. Have made many a good meal from the front shoulders of old bucks & big boar hogs the same way. That looks great, bet everyone is waking up hungry this morning with that simmering over night.
Kiddo is doing good, working on my favorite profile knife sharp tipped drop point. Keep raising them right, they are a blessing from God.
