No place like home ... especially with a view like that. Yes, Sir. I have posted about this several times - we scaled back our lives in order to enjoy it more. Got rid of the big house and found a smaller/cheaper place that costs us roughly half of the property taxes we paid before. It isn't fancy and it isn't big, but it does provide an attitude correction factor without leaving home.
