First attempt at pork belly burnt ends. Turned out very tender. I love honey candied belly! Fantastic taste, and really easy to make: we eat a ton of them. I usually wait until the wife is in a good mood, 'cause it is a pain to get the wire rack clean afterwards!!!

I found mine
5 tablespoons dark brown sugar
4 tablespoons coarse salt
3 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Chinese five-spice powder
1 tablespoon onion powder

It is amazing how clean the dishwasher has been getting the racks for the grill and smoker cleaned up after such cooking.
